- Get 2 cups skim milk
- Make ready 6 cups flour
- Prepare 1/2 cup shortening

- Dissolve Yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in warm water and wait until it doubles. (Around 10 mins)
- Add milk mixture, salt, sugar, yeast mixture, and eggs. Beat.
- Add in 2 cups of flour and beat again. Continue adding flour until dough pulls from the sides. (Less is more)
- Put dough in greased bowl and let rise. Until double in size (around 1 hour)
- Punch dough down and let rise again. (At this point, dough may be refrigerated overnight)
- Once you’re ready to cook, divide dough into 4 balls and roll out into 14” circles (there will be 8-10 rolls per circle). Shape roles, and place onto greased pan. Brush with melted butter and let rise until double. (Around 1 hour.)
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. And enjoy.
